A Race, An Implosion, And A Menacing Blimp

NASCAR is back in Las Vegas. So is the Sanyo blimp, which I find annoying for some reason, as it goes back and forth.

On Fremont Street, I am sure that a vendor I remember has returned, and is shouting out NASCARRR. Although it sounded to me, more like he was saying, nathcahhh.

Souvenir stands have been towed in, unhitched, and temporarily parked at various appropriate locations, such as right next to the Trump sales office on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, (which is a good distance away from The Strip) has a countdown clock on their website. A little more than 3 days left until the UAW-Daimler Chrysler 400.

For the rest of us Las Vegas enthusiasts, there is little more than 5 days left until The Stardust implosion.
