TI (Treasure Island) Las Vegas. Construction of a 3 story retail structure which is reported to be open later this year.
From Breakfast Cereal To MGM Grand Hakkasan DJ Superstar
Am I the only one who remembers the delicious breakfast cereal this dude used to make? The commercial was catchy. A is for afro, J is for Jacks, ... toasty afrojacks. They were the best.
Well apparently Afrojack has moved on to bigger and better things as he is now a DJ superstar and appearing at Hakkasan at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

SLS Las Vegas Outdoor Chandeliers
SLS Las Vegas. A few more shots as they get ready for grand opening next month. Simple chandeliers in front. Looks okay. As for those large picture frames, it would be cool if one was left empty in homage to the tv show Friends.

Pawn Shop Live At Riviera Las Vegas
Pawn Shop Live being advertised on a billboard on Paradise, and the front side of Riviera looking south on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Westgate - LVH - Hilton - International
The sign is being changed from LVH (Las Vegas Hotel) to Westgate. Before LVH it was Hilton. Prior to that it was International.
Is Westgate a good name to use? Although it is a company name, it lacks personality and has potential for confusion.
Westgate sounds like it is something which is part of something else. Such as the west gate of a parking lot. Or an airport terminal reference.
To those politically minded it may resonate phonetically with Watergate.
Southland corporation was okay with their convenience stores being 7-11 and not Southland convenience store.
Since Paradise is the main road in front, did anyone consider calling it...
Good luck Westgate, cleared for takeoff.

The Steak House At Circus Circus Las Vegas
Circus Circus is one of the few themed Las Vegas places which has opened, stayed open, and maintained it's theme. As well the advertising for their steak house has me hungry.
SLS Las Vegas Grand Opening Sign
The video sign in front of SLS Las Vegas (formerly Sahara) is turned on. Among the variety of presentations which cycle through the display is this one informing that the grand opening for SLS Las Vegas will be August 23, 2014.
Sammy Davis Jr. On Front Of SLS Las Vegas
Sammy Davis Jr. has been put on the front of SLS Las Vegas as part of their legendary opening campaign.
If you are wondering if Sammy was a DJ, keep moving on.
SLS Las Vegas will open August 23, 2014.
Future Site Of Resorts World Las Vegas
Stardust was here, and has long since been razed. Then Echelon was to rise in it's place, but construction halted as can be seen.
Now Resorts World will be developing the property, and many people, not just the souvenir shop owner across the street, are hopeful that the project will be completed, and a success.

Mayhem Video - Pedestrians Run In Traffic After July 4th Fireworks At Caesars Las Vegas
Exclusive RoyVegas video of mayhem at Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. Fire truck must blast horn to get pedestrians out of way. People run across moving traffic where no pedestrian crosswalk exists.
Where the hell was traffic control for a special event?
July 4th happens every year on...July 4th.
This was a known event. Special traffic control ought to have been in place. Safety first, right?
The pedestrian overpasses were extraordinarily crowded. The one between Caesars and Bellagio was plugged solid. Impassable.
There is a street level crossing a few hundred yards north of this location, however to many, especially tourists unfamiliar with the area and desiring to go south, this is what happened.
Vegas Fireworks Spectators Walk In Gutter Video - July 4th 2014
Exclusive RoyVegas video of spectators walking in traffic after the Caesars Palace fireworks show on July 4th 2014.
Las Vegas After Fireworks 2014
Following the July 4th 2014 fireworks at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, crowds dangerously mixed with traffic. Then a rare rain in the desert began. Someone shouted "it's raining" and people began running as if there was a mad man loose.
Top photo of rainy Las Vegas Blvd, looking north from Caesars main driveway.
Middle photo shows High Roller observation wheel (ferris wheel) at Linq illuminated red white and blue.
Bottom photo, same night, where there is sin, there are sometimes anti-sin sign holders.
July 4th 2014 Caesars Palace Crowd Walks In Traffic
The walkways across Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo were too crowded. There was no crowd control. At one point following the Caesars fireworks show, a fire truck parked in front of Caesars as if to box off a safety lane, yet the unbelievably unsafe difficulties are evident in these photos.
It has been years since pedestrians had a ground level crossing at this intersection. Traffic control was needed.
